Nordic Curl 4x AMRAP(as many reps as possible), with a 5 sec decent on the eccentric part of the movement 3. Barbell RDL 4x10-12 with a 3 second Eccentric 4. Smith Machine Reverse Lunge 4x15(each side) 5a. Db side lunges 3x15 5b. Staggered single leg deadlift 3x15, performed on each side as dispersed 6. Hamstring Draw in 3x20 . Dieting/Training/Poor Sleep/Comp Prep/Work/Relationships.... these are all external stressors..... if one or multiple increase, the others have to reduce to maintain balance and keep your body happy.... a happy body is much more likely to play game in terms of chasing your goals.... I can’t tell you how much happier and positive I feel, and how much better I’m looking, since prioritising my SLEEP. My job is quite stressful, the hours and travelling I do some days are very long. I worry about work and then I worry about fitting in training and steps and cardio and all that worrying keeps me awake - along with staying up too late, too much screen time, working late at night and not allowing myself to relax properly. On the left I was under 1000 cals training lots of high intensity cardio sessions, 2-3 times weights. On the right I was between 1300-1800 cals in different phases, with 1-2 low intensity cardio sessions, 5 times weight. The single most important attribute is discipline to following through the process. That’s your level of commitment. Besides that, is understanding the science of nutrition and training according to your goal, sometimes result is not linear subject to many factors (internal and external). Get a coach if you don’t know what you are doing or if you are doing everything and not seeing result. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Be the better version of yourself. #fitness #health #lifestyle #girlswholift #coach #personaltrainer

This resonates with me because this is something I am always seeking. The next level will never be met with one simple step, it is a combination of things that are slightly different from person to person. Personally, I have seen the biggest difference from changing my diet (eating whole foods and no dairy), timing the rest between my sets, emphasizing form when lifting, warming up properly, resting enough. Things I have seen make no difference to me have been if I eat right before I sleep, if I do or do not wear a waist trainer, taking BCAAs, if I get my steps in vs cardio on equipment and weighing myself more than once a week.
